here are my first try with the new polymer clay "BeeSPutty", it's a great material, a bit like super sculpey firm, but less crumbly and more sticky.
I did the demon thingy first to test it, and then had a go at a real mini: a zombie

Very nice. I've never used a polymer clay like Bees Putty. Do you bake it in stages like green epoxy putty or do you sculpt it in one go before baking?

Can you use it for converting existing miniatures?

Sylvain27 Apr 2015 7:08 p.m. PST

hydra studios: I sculpt everything before baking but you could also bake it in several stages if you prefer. But a big advantage of polymer clays is that you can still rework any part after adding other part, to make sure everything works well together.

Cyrus: you could use it to convert metal or resin figures, but be carefull as you have to bake it to 130°C, metal and resin can survivre those températures but resin will get softer and could bend or even colapse under its own weight if you have thin part supporting heavy weight.
