Just put a brief post on my blog wipeoutwargames.com/blog raising a question: has anyone used the web to organise a co-ordinated, massive campaign? It could be scale- and rules-agnostic. But you need to have a lot of info / know a lot and, of course, have some dedicated campaign chiefs. Where are the war studies or history students to help us out? Regards, Phil |

I participated in one many years ago that was set in North Africa during WWII. We were provided with maps and info on our units and intel (sometimes very inaccurate) and made decisions. Others played out the games generated. I had a lot of fun with it till my retreating Italian column got caught and wiped out. |
