Looking at the WotR, would there be any difference in outward appearance? Armor, weapons, etc.? |

Currors could have larger horses. They were originaly intended as lighter armored shock cavalry. Perhaps back ranks of knight formation or as substitute for expensive knights. Hobilars got their name from smaller horses they rode for scouting and skirmishing. I think that in reality both names/troop types could perform each others role due to the irregular recruiting, training and equipping. |

Yes; spears are the primary weapon. Hobilars were mounted infantry rather than cavalry. |
