Finally finished the conversion of some Ion Age/HOF Knights into pseudo SM scouts. Heads by the ever dependable GZG. This is the first time I've ever attempted anything quite like this. I think I managed to catch something of grimdark aesthetic with ludicrously over-sized weapons (2 scale-metres)and forgetting to put the helmet on your full coverage body armour…

Cool!

"over-sized weapons" – you captured them well.

I was looking at the new GW boxed game with assassins and really like the one with the sniper rifle "hiding" behind a little piece of wall with over half of his weapon exposed.

You did a good job on the capes too, some nice movement in them from what I can see in your pictures.

Never worked with green stuff. Does it harden to be unbreakable?

GS doesn't set rock-hard, it remains very slightly flexible. This is very good for tabards and capes, since it allows for some flex if the model gets dropped.

"Brown stuff" sets much harder, almost steel-hard.

SM scouts? That's illegal in quite a few countries!

@Redroom
Trust me when I say it was more than luck than judgement as I desperately tried to stop the thin bits of GS sticking to everything that wasn't miniature!

Nice, you captured the look well.
