Message to UK players only please.

Who's playing All Quiet on the Martian Front? Enjoying it?

Seeing that couldn't find any tripods at Salute yesterday I just bought some from you sir..

once painted the Martian Front will be introduced to the Very British Civil War.

Looked at it but don't like the models. Set in 1910 but tanks look post 1917 or later. More imagination needed!

Actually, the timeline is up to 1916 or 17, I think. The invasion starts in 1910.

Saw the order, thanks Eric.

The latest tanks look 1950 rather than 1915.

Just looking for some idea of how many are actively playing the game in the UK.

The turret looks like 50's tech but the hulls still look old fashioned. MG turrets and awkward bogies arrangement.

Played it at Little Wars this weekend…Models are nice…but horribly expensive….

Land Dreadnought dominates the battlefield…

Rules are kind of clunky…..

I was thinking about getting into this but with the prices and missing charts and clunky rules, I think i will pass….

Friend owns the game
Played it once
Fun game, but not enough for me to want to get involved in it at present

Was in on the Kickstarter….so my cost was lower than getting in now. Have played at least a dozen times…..had a great time each time. However will not be investing in the Land Dreadnought….too many eras to buy for.

Fellows, Nick is asking specifically about UK players, appropriate for a UK-based supplier. If you are going to comment, and aren't in the UK, you really should say so.

I'm in the USA, and apologize for thread-jacking.

Doug

Edit: Nick, I hope you can accept a bit of friendly criticism from a customer. You really should have made the topic: Playing All Quiet on the Martian Front in the UK.

NickNorthStar27 Apr 2015 8:33 a.m. PST

True. But it's always nice to hear from everyone anyway. I've been clicking on profiles to check.

As did I, and not everyone filled in that blank.

Not that there's ANY doubt about Murphy… ;->=

Not playing yet, as free time's been non-existent this year and I'm an inordinately slow painter, but hoping my oppo and I can give it a run out later in the year. The rules seems simple but workable, and I really like the models – just need to get some paint on them….
