Right, so with the demo game on in the UK, pitting Stingray subs vs. Terrorfish, and the publication of the free rules to go with them, not to mention Mr. Manley's blog of a game using the smaller, Matchbox minis, it appears that the models to game with them are out of sight in terms of pricing (at least for me).

Been watching a bit of Hangar 1, on UFOs/USOs, on "The History Channel", and last night's episode was on USOs (Unidentified Submersible Objects).

So, I was pondering the next best thing.

I've got some SkyDiver subs, and UFOs that are a bit under utilized, so figure perhaps I need to put them into action.

I figure I can make it a little more interesting by scratch-building another USO variant, or two, like in the TV show, to go with the UFOs, and to combat the SkyDivers as well. Perhaps even build an alien undersea base for the SkyDiver crew to investigate, or destroy as well.

Decided, before I get started, to ask, has anyone else come up with stats, and/or undersea combat rules for their UFOs and SkyDivers?

If not, anyone interested in collaborating on that?

Last time I looked into this, weapons loadouts and stats for the SkyDiver torpedoes, and undersea mines, were a bit sketchy.

Could even add in some UFO attacks on cargo vessels, and/or naval warships, from beneath and above the sea, to make it really fun.

Anyone else interested, or done something similar already?

It's not Anderson but this sounds a lot like XCOM Terror from the Deep. The game might make for good brain candy.

Saw the same show … interesting, and could make some sort of gaming fodder.
