Judging by Lurkio's post below, Warlord Games have shown some pretty advanced work not only on hard plastic 28mm Portuguese Infantry, which I think had already leaked, but some French Chasseurs a Cheval. In fact these very versatile figures look to be more advanced than the Portuguese. Very exciting!

Did anyone pick any other gems up? What have the Perrys been up to? Any sightings of Victrix French Artillery in hard plastic 28mm?

I could. be wrong , but when I was at the Perries and Victrix I couldn't see anything new.. Unless you count the new Perries late medieval plastics , but they have been announced already

Thanks
Simon

1812 onwards Chasseurs a Cheval. No good for me unfortunately. More Imperial Guard infantry from the looks of it – not sure if they are plastic though. Blucher and co at the back.

Perrys had British infantry for the Sudan/Zulu Wars.

Thanks guys! That's a little disappointing, I was hoping the Perry's would announce their Light Dragoons in time for me to paint a couple of Regiments in time for Waterloo 200….

I was trying to purchase the Blucher set before the actual Ligny/Waterloo dates, but they are not being released until late may early June. They are late in production.

I ended up with the Foundry ones instead.

The light dragoons will be available around june. The figs were at Renedra for work on it and couldn't be shown. There was a selection of new plastics (3 ups) of the upcoming french infantery and knight for the hundred years war and britisch colonial infantry for the Sudan and the Zulu wars. More can be seen at the Perry website.

Plastic French Chasseurs a Cheval would be great news. I would be looking to buy 4+ boxes at least.

Looks like French Guard without greatcoats could be useful.

Would nt use Portugese for Peninsular but might find a use for them as Prussian Reserve Infantry in Portugese uniforms.

Thanks guys

James

Plastic chasseurs a cheval? Marvellous!
I'll have ten boxes! (or so)
