I just received one of Najewitz Modellbau's Normandy Farmhouse kits. The service was very good -- it took less than three weeks from Germany to the US (and I understand the kits are cast to order). I also thought the price was very reasonable (especially as the dollar was quite strong compared to the euro when I placed the order) and postage was a bargain at €15.00 EUR The kit was well-packed and the pieces were packed in separate plastic bags so that all of the pieces for each building, etc., were in the same bag. The kit has great detail and I don't think it will require a lot of preparation -- just a bit of very light flash here and there.

The individual pieces are very detailed and fit together very well based on my test fitting. I am really looking forward to assembling and painting this model.

can you show it next to 20mm figures? or measure the doorway heights for me?

Simo: the door on the farmhouse is about 30mm high and an AB figure on a 1.5mm wooden base clears it nicely. The doors are the barn are a bit smaller, but again the AB looks fine.

The main gate is about 50mm from the ground to the keystone in the arch and 50mm wide.

I hope this helps.
