So what manufacturers of 15mm miniatures, in your opinion, most need a US retailer? I mean a retailer that holds significant stock, not one who just relays orders? With Venexia, Corvus Belli, Legio Heroica and others no longer available, I find myself thinking about who to add to my assortment. Who would you vote for?

Fantasy, SciFi, Historical but 15mm

Hmm I'd say Irregular and QRF produce a wide range of 15mm quality stuff that if I was in the USA I'd want. Musing a bit more I would add Blackhat and whatever Donnington is now called for exacttly the same reasons. Outpost too.

You might want to select as some of their ranges are the same periods and of course I have no idea if any of them are looking for a US retailer.

QRF – Recently had issues with an order from overseas getting held up in customs and partially lost. They are re-sending the lost portion but a US retailer would solve this sort of issue.

Hmmm…

I am a US retailer for QRF and Black Hat already. I stock the complete Black Hat ranges, and the post WW2 for QRF. I have special ordered a little Freikorps but not enough to make me think it would sell really well on a regular basis.

I also stock the TSS, which bought the WW1 range from QRF…

There've been some delays for shipments out of the UK.

I had an order take almost 30 days, since it was held in Belfast for inspection.

Little, plastic tanks, which would seem to me to pose little threat, but apparently they were "interesting" for some reason.

I did get everything, along with a very nicely worded apology note from Royal Post, and they rebagged the shipment.

Essex. Obviously, the problem is that they have so many ranges, you need to decide what to stock deep, what to stock shallow (if at all), and see where special orders take you (assuming that you can make fairly small special orders on a regular basis rather than being forced to save your order up until you have enough to make a large minimum order).

Essex,Essex and Essex. I so miss being able to buy them from here. I am willing to wait for backorders/special orders. After all,I am from the time of snail mail…..

BTW Mark,I have switched over to using Black Hat for my needs, but Essex makes so many figures that maybe you could consider carrying those that you dont already have covered,or very well.

Another vote for Essex, their stuff while dated is still very good quality.

I'd love to see a US stockist for the complete Ground Zero Games line. But I understand Jon is not keen on the idea. How about Critical Mass Games? And yes, Essex for historicals.

Dixon 15mm – would be happy to order some from a Stateside store – though not sure how deep you would need to go

Essex is a pretty obvious hole in the US market.

Who is carrying Magister Militum 15mm aka Chariot?

Great Hall is showing a greater selection of Essex at their new site, but only 10mm Magister Militum.

There are a few things I wouldn't mind picking up from that line.

P.S. Noble Knight and FRP carry some Essex, more selection at the former.

P.P.S. Second the Donnington aka Ancient and Modern Army Supplies.

P.P.S. Good service from 15mm UK, but wouldn't mind a US supplier for the old Tabletop lines.

Mark is our US distributer for Freikorp, QRF and TSS. If he hasn't got it in stock, he orders regularly from us. Hopefully that should avoid holdups and costs in customs (even if it takes slightly longer for him to get hold of it) and the domestic shipping rate should make it cheaper overall.

I agree with Shagnasty: Minifigs. I really miss being able to order them in the U.S.
