An occasional contributor, The Housemartin, has added an after action report on a very satisfying game we recently played. This recreates a battle in Italy in 1815, occurring nearly the same time as the much more famous battle of Waterloo. The battle of Tolentino reaffirmed the Austrian rule over Italy.

Am hoping to refight Tolentino myself next week/week after. I have two contradictory maps – what was your source?
PS Tolentino was actually before Waterloo and meant that Napoleon HAD to go on the offensive as the Austrians were no longer distracted by Murat. Napoleon was furious about the whole campaign and Murat was still in disgrace during the 100 days – hence his absence from Waterloo. Perhaps the decisive battle of the campaign?

Funnily enough this is going to be the next project of The Gentlemen Wargamers, Murat's 69 Days…..

Good to see others considering this forgotten campaign.
