I recently dusted off my Flodden Scots and intended to finish them and add a few command figures. I am looking for some dismounted nobles like the ones that are depicted in the Osprey Flodden book. Specifically, I am looking for full plate with the cloth covering which seems to only be over the lower half of the body? I'm not sure what it is called, it does not seem to be a jupon, but maybe it is. I am looking for foot figures primarily, but mounted in addition would be nice. I have looked at all of the mfgs that I know to try and cannot find any. Does anyone have a suggestion? If not, I will be pulling out the "greenstuff" to alter some existing figures. Thanks – Allen |

Thanks for the response. I have some of these, but they are not wearing the garment over the thighs that I am looking for. Allen |

Take a look at MY Miniatures, they do a rather nice Flodden range and have the leaders I think you're after. link

You could try QRF dismounted Gendarmes and green stuff a skirt. How big are those MY chaps Ray say compared to Essex? |

Yarr68, those look like what I am after! Do I assume by your nickname that you are the owner of MY minis? I would like to order some packs, but am not sure what pictures are of what packs. I may need to send you an email for clarification. Thanks – Allen |

No sorry Allen I'm not, the ownner is a chap called Mike Yarrow, hence the MY name. I can't find a pic with the figures in but these's a MY figure on the right in the pic below. The other figures are L to R Peter Pig, QRF, Feudal Castings & MY

Thanks for the photo, I have sent off an email about an order. Sorry, I thought the YARR stood for Yarrow. |
