I put this game on at our local club, Lancaster Wargamers, based very loosely on Mortimers Cross for two people who had not played Wars of the Roses before. The rules were Poleaxed 2 and it was a very bloody affair which put paid to fifty percent of the nobility present. Is there a way to stop the URL's showing? |

Yep – just trim your picture link so that it ends in .jpg and doesn't have a .html tacked on the end.

Nice looking game – what size table is that?, interesting to see it played longways down the table. |

Certainly has lots of flags! |

Thanks for the heads up Dom. The table was 6x4 and was played along rather than across to fit with the popular account of the battle. Amongst the heraldry there are retinue flags/standards with said lords badge on them, so it does look like a lot, but then that is one thing that attracted me to the period, I love flags. |

Looks like it was a fun way to kill an evening. |
