We are now having some discussions on figures for both hippies and clowns. But, what rules would you use? |
79thPA | 21 Apr 2015 6:49 a.m. PST |
I would be inclined to do an element based game, so something like HOTT. |

No point, the clowns just win. Everyone's heard of angry, mean drunks, but who's ever heard of an angry, mean stoner? -Kle. |
Col Durnford | 21 Apr 2015 7:51 a.m. PST |
Same rules as Soviets vs. Nazis. As long as there are heavy losses everybody wins. |
Capatian | 21 Apr 2015 7:56 a.m. PST |
The "At Close Quarters" System by Chris Peers. I think I got the name right. Very modifiable and they have great spotting and movement rules. Maybe a more serious answer than was intended by the question. |

Any set of zombie rules that includes a chart of comedic random events. |

Infinity N3 with heavily modified weapons list. I want a parkour friendly board where clowns dual wield autoguns shooting fruit pies while hippies have mastered the close combat art of protest sign-fu. |

> but who's ever heard of an angry, mean stoner? I've seen "Reefer Madness"… For the game, is the "Toon" RPG still available in some form? Seems like the perfect fit. |

Just use the card game 'Lunch Money.' |
ordinarybass | 21 Apr 2015 10:06 a.m. PST |
Isn't there a "no Go zone" ruleset that is specifically designed for urban riot combat? |

Aliens vs Hillbillies AKA It came from beyond the still. Simple fun rules. AKULA's Total A.R.S.E may work well too. If you want a more "serious" wargame experience, PULP ALLEY may accomodate that genre very easily. Hope that helps. |

They're not on the same side? Shocking! |

Phil Kiernan's(OUTLAND OF PA) Mayberry vs. aliens rules. however it would need a major presence of the Mississipi National Guard after they took over Cuba in a flat bed wagon.! :-) i wish i could find that political cartoon. end result…wonder how Cuba will be ruled under Willie Nelson! |
Col Durnford | 21 Apr 2015 12:42 p.m. PST |
"wonder how Cuba will be ruled under Willie Nelson!" Even better bud would be imported into Colorado. |

Ganesha's Kooky Teenage Monster Hunters with Fear and Faith. Clowns _are_ in the Horror genre arn't they? JohnG |

I think Pulp Alley or 7TV would work well, especially if you factor in the likely need for other factions – Elvises, the Scooby gang, the Big Lebowski crowd, and the Marx Brothers. I have everything but the hippies, though I do have an in-scale VW van. |
Bobgnar | 21 Apr 2015 4:59 p.m. PST |
I like Hordes of the Things for this encounter. Here is a pictures of some of my Flower Power Hippie hordes vs some assorted Clowns, including a pie throwing shooter, a war band in the back, a tricycle Knight and a stilt wearing behemoth
I need a sllzer bottle shooter. |

Chain Reaction would work, although you would have to do up reaction tables. Which would be quite the hoot, I think… |
