Given my feud with M$, I'm loathe to funnel even more bucks their way, but these are fetching, and it's a very small drop in a very large bucket. Anyone else think the UNSC frigates might fly with Directorate? Thanks, DinoDoc and Katzbalger! Doug |

I'm a fan of the model designs (and of the Halo series having bought every game and some of the books) but it still strikes me as odd choice to game, since the background for Halo is that the UNSC tends to lose almost every space battle since the Covenant is much more advanced and more numerous than the UNSC (outnumbered and outgunned). This is then followed by a more equal ground battle after which the Covenant 'glass' the planet from orbit. On the other hand the UNSC miniatures (space and ground) would enable me to game the insurrections in the colonies before the arrival of the Covenant. |

I am intrigued with the "halo dice" thing. Are these custom dice like FFG uses for Xwing or Armada – or are these just d6's with a halo symbol on the 6? Given that there are 25 of them, likely d6's, but optimistically they are something more interesting. Although Spartan breaking away from the bucket of exploding d6 mechanic seems unlikely as well. -Tim |

Watching this with some interest….. Big question is: Will it be a complete boxed game, or built around the expansion set model of x-wing/armada/attack-wing/etc…? In which case, pricing seems steep for a 'starter set'…. |

…Yep, it's expansion based. Pass. I've got enough of those…. |
