Was talking with a buddy about this and, frankly, we don't know. So I thought I'd tap the wisdom of TMP. The scales (and manufacturers) the two of us know of are: 1/1000 (Sails of Glory) 1/1200 (GHQ, Langton, etc. Easily the most popular) 1/2000 (Valiant) 1/2400 (Figurehead and one other?) I know there are some others out there below 1/2400 but haven't a clue what scale and who makes them. Any help? |

Navwar does 1/3000 as does Westwind. Tumbling Dice has 1/4800 in addition to 1/2400 Hallmark/Figurehead and Old Glory also do 1/2400 I've seen 1/6000 AOS on Shapeways I think Portsmouth makes 1/900 |

There is also War Artizan's 1/600 as well as Langton's and Peter Pig's 1/300 scales. Galleys and Galleons are 1/450. |

Oh and the Peter Pig range is 1/450 not 1/300 |

Portsmouth Miniatures were already mentioned (1/900), but I notice Valiant now claims their Spanish Main range (Armada period) is 1/900. They used to call it 1/1200. Edit: I just went and looked, and now the Spanish Main range is listed as 1/1200 again. LOL! In 1/300, there are also Armada-period ships from Old Glory Shipyard/Merrimack. There are also ships made in 15mm and 25/28mm. If you include modeling scales (plastic models, not gaming miniatures) there are a zillion scales. I don't even know how many. - Ix |

Airfix HMS Victory, roughly 1/600. Still the source for conversion to SoL and frigates. |

Model scales would be 1/700, 1/400, 1/350, 1/100 and 1/72 for standard scale, but then there are tons of older box scale ship from the early years of plastic models. |

There was another company who offered 1/4800 Napoleonics. IIRC the called the line Trafalgar or some such. Anyone remember who that was? It may have been Westwind. |
