I have been unable to get the PETER PIG website to display. Is it temporarily down or is there some other issue? I get the following: Are you a visitor to this website? "The website located at this URL has either been removed or not currently been uploaded. Please re-check the address. If you return to this page then please try again later". Seems to have something to do with the "Demon.net". Thanks, Mitch |

Yes,disaster!!! Our web host "Demon" has gone belly up and transferred our site to namesco. They say hey cannot host the site due to it needing microsoft extensions(front page). Maybe some TMP member can help with the following. 1. Suggest a web package that can hold tables(sandbox and rapid weaver will not) 2. Using a mac. 3. Don't really want to get into the subscription model for adobe dreamweaver (seems like you pay forever). thanks in anticipation.

Martin, I teach web design in my day job. You should be able to change all of the names of the pages from .htm to .html and the should work the same as before with no problems. Though your internal links will all need to be changed. Perhaps a 'search replace all might do the trick? Copy the site and try it on the copy? I'm on vacation this week, drop me a pm if you want to chat tomorrow. Frontpage was discontinued in '07, you might want to find another solution for your long term. |
