I have used a scenario from the book and ACW rules to have a closer look at the mechanics in action. link |

Good review. We played a few weeks ago and had a fun time. |

I bought the book a long time ago but great review anyway! I think you nailed it! |

Thank you for the time and energy you put into the review. I, too have lost some space and may shrink down using these rules exactly because they are so easily tweakable. |

Nice review and battle reports. I hope you continue posting about HOW. I really like the book and I am very interested in the rules. Regards. |

Good review. Our crew has been playing games with it. It is also a good way to start a beginner, as we did last week. And another player, just started about a year ago, is using these rules to start figuring out basic tactics. How that translates to other rules remains to be seen, but he is figuring out these. In time I think we might use the scenarios with slightly more complex rules. But later for that. One of our guys is planning on showing his grandchildren the game. Will it compete with electronic games? |

Thanks for the review. What if a unit that has 5 or less hits gets a +1 on their rolls and a unit with 11 or more hits a -1 to their rolls. Would that make it a one hour and fifteen minute game? |
