"After the Polish and Christian cavalry we have here now "Christian" Infantry to fight the Turks. Of course they can fight each other from 1680 to 1700 too (Boyne, 9-years-war, Great nothern war….)…"

These look good, though I wonder why they call them "christian" infantry when the vast majority of the "christian" infantry forces at Vienna came from various German states.

Anyway, wrong siege and scale for me. I am looking for good Ottomans for the 1529 siege in 28mm :-)

Because they were Christian…Protestant Christians maybe but Christian nonetheless, unless they were Bavarian or Austrian Catholic Christians.

Anyone Know what the manufacturer painted the figures with to make the detail standout?

Agree about "christians".

Not sure I understand your point: Surely, the siege of Vienna was about defending Christendom against Muslim invaders?!

@Puster

How about the Assault Group?? Turkish uniforms barely change in 200 years. The only thing you might consider is that the early Sipahis would not have pistols.

I wrote Christians because they can used as Austrians and Germans who beside the Poles fought at Vienna.

But they could also be used for Venetians, Irish, English, Dutch at the Boyne, British at Tangier, Nearly all nations in the 9years-war.

The only armies who had another style at this period are the French and the Spanish.

cheers

They look like they were painted white with a black wash over them.
