Hi all, My kids and I have not played Zombies before, but couldn't resist getting a couple of boxes of the new Caesar miniature Modern Zombies. A simple game, with a single Marine fire team trying to make their way across a ruined city-scape in the face of growing numbers of hungry zombies. link Enjoy! We'll need to investigate and find a few good zombie scenarios now… Any feedback, and pointers on the scenarios, would be really welcome! Regards, Phil |

The Caesar zombies look like they paint up quickly. |

79th PA: the figures are not too complex – very few belts or anything. One figure seems to be your standard businessman zombie who still has his tie on. But I like them – and as you say, they can paint up quickly. The women figures are a little bit flimsy, with stick thin legs (very little sign of obesity problems among the zombies here – sometimes they get such a bad press, but in this regard they're good examples!). I've left a few without any blood or gore dripping off them so that they might be "survivors" to be pursued/rescued depending on your point of view. And I can't help thinking if they wouldn't also do OK as rioters. But where are the good plastic modern police sets? Notwithstanding all the above, we're not above cutting a few corners, though, in the painting department! Regards, Phil |
