Had a busy day with painting, model placement and fixing damaged miniatures. The diorama is looking stunning. Epic in scale. Painted a lot of sandbags today as well. Had visits today from Peter Jackson and Richard Taylor. Sir Peter didn't send my staff officer back to be repainted so I must have done something right.

These guys sculpt like Olympic sprinters run – fast. I watched Alan Perry sit next to me and make a new NZ Inf Brigade commander in about half an hour (we lost the original one off model). I have to get it painted tonight.

I would have loved to have seen that Brian, and I'll bet that was very special and (amongst everything else) something you will remember for quite a while.

Well done Brian. I saw you splashed all across the Perry Facebook page this morning.
