The long awaited "Forging A Nation" Ezine has been released and it's an excellent read. There is something for everyone concerning the Early American Wars in this premier issue.
A spectacular Alamo article, a painting tutorial for British AWI and an article on how to make forest floor are all packed into this issue. It's published by the same people who bring you the ACW Gamer Ezine, so you know that it's a quality product.
OK, I wrote the forest floor article, but that's not why I am posting this. If you enjoy AWI, F&I War, Alamo and the War of 1812 then you should support this effort. I have no other interest in this Ezine, other than writing a few "How To's". I just think that it's something that we, who love the periods, should get behind.

It's 12 bucks for 4 issues. Spend the 3 dollars and try a sample issue. You won't regret it.

Second that opinion. I actually like this E-zine more than the ACW version. It covers my main gaming interests. Very well done.

Bought and downloaded 1st issue.

Lots of pretty photos of minis and terrain.

Two nice workshop articles on basing (forest floor for Kings Mtn), and terrain (making a butte).

Preview of an Alamo supplement to GETTYSBURG SOLDIERS rules.

Some other things I haven't checked out yet.

Sounds great. I bought a 12 month subscription with Paypal. Got the receipt by email. No way to access it or download it. What do I do next?

They will email you the download. My receipt and the download link came in 2 emails within minutes of each other.
