I'm in the midst of building some terrain tiles for my Pulp Alley meets Rogue Trader project. I've put a tutorial on my blog if you're interested in seeing how they're done. link

Looks really great. Do you do the white edges on the cracks with a pen or a brush?

This would be a really good way to make Deadzone tiles.

I use a brush because that's what I had to hand. A pen would probably work too, and might be quicker.

Those are things of beauty.

I particularly like the directional highlight.

How do you find these cork tiles for warping?

blacksoilbill16 Apr 2015 8:03 a.m. PST

I had some slight warping when I was doing the first coat, but I just sat the tile on a pot of paint and gravity did it's work. These 6mm tiles seem noticeably heavier and more flexible than 5mm ones I've used in the past, and this works against warping.
