from their website
Musket Miniatures is being sold -- we will accept orders until June 15, 2015… Any idea on who is buying and what changes might be made? |

I saw a discussion about this on the ACW Railroad yahoo group and it sounds like one someone from that forum had a buyer. I'm glad this is finally happening Jim has been open to selling Musket for about 5-6 years now. |

The customer service bar has been set quite high. I hope the new owners don't let it slip. As an example, I wanted a bulk pack of 20mm ACW (100 figures at one reduced price). I was allowed to pick and split the base figure type in the pack by the call number. |

The more I think about it the more it just sucks……. |

Well that sucks. I was looking to place an order with them but since I'm not in the US and they now aren't accepting credit card payments I guess I'll have to look elsewhere. |

Looks like we may be in luck. The Musket Miniatures website states that "the new owner has picked up the molds for the AWR line and all 15mm Civil War, American Revolution, Mexican American War and terrain and scenery lines." No mention of anything else. |

This blows,,,,,,they and stone mountain were the best ( and Brookhurst). MM sent me a division of federals to keep me sane in Bosnia. Loved the bulk bags. This is terrible news! |

Well, while I will miss the fine folks at Musket Miniatures, I hope the new owners will find success with this wonderful range of figures. They and their close cousins from Stone Mountain are some of the easiest and fastest painting figures around. I have a very large number of figures from both companies. So, rather than lament, I will say best of luck to Jim in his new endeavors – which I hope is a long and happy retirement. And, yes, MM always provided first class customer service. |

Any news when the new owners will be up and running? |
