… Berlin To Commemorate World War II.

"Night Wolves plan two-week rally to mark Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany, angering eastern Europeans over bikers' support for Putin's Ukraine policy

A Russian biker gang backed by Vladimir Putin is planning to ride through Europe to celebrate the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in the second world war, sparking controversy in central Europe.

A two-week 3,750-mile (6,000km) rally by Russian bikers including the Night Wolves, a fiercely nationalistic motorcycle club, will pass through Belarus, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, before ending in Berlin on 9 May – the day Russia marks the end of its war against Nazi Germany.

"To Berlin!" says a page on the biker gang's website dedicated to the rally, which is set to begin on 25 April, in an allusion to the Red Army's famous battle cry…"

Hmmmmm, wonder if "Vlad the Invader" will be riding with them?

That would certainly be interesting for everyone involved.

Will there be a Commemorative Russian Artillery Barrage(400 guns per mile) that obliterated some of their own regiments/motorcycle battalions? Huh? Huh? Huh?

We could re-enact the American seizure of Murmansk in WWI. Just this one time.

Or a Berlin bombing raid just as the Night Wolves hit the Oder.

Yeah, just read 6 news feeds and I'm cranky.

I stopped eating Snickers when I lost five teeth. Milky Ways work like Viagra, though.

We could have Hell's Angels meet the Night Wolves at Torgau…..

I wonder if the Poles would like to commemorate anything.

Maybe those asswipes can stop by Katyn and wave their flags there, they liberated the Bleeped text out of Poles there.

Does Poland have any Biker "Clubs" (Gangs). I guess NATO reinforcements would be Hells Angels, etc.

Germany Will Not Permit Russian Biker Club To Drive To Berlin To Celebrate The 70th Anniversary Of The End Of The Second World War

"The Russian biker-club "Night Wolves" decided to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Soviet victory over fascism by organizing a bike journey from Moscow to Berlin. However, German authorities will not permit the club to drive to the German capital, according to the German newspaper "Die Welt".

Berlin authorities will not give the Russian biker club "Night Wolves" permission to organize a bike tour in honor of the Allied victory in World War II, the German newspaper "Die Welt" reported, citing a source in the German law enforcement service.

The service has not yet received a special request from the biker-club to cross the country's capital, which is mandatory in such cases. However, the answer will be negative anyway, a source told the newspaper…"

My money is on the Angels. I'd rather push my Harley than ride a vodka burner….
