Continuing with the enemies of Rome, I have three posts dedicated to the Armenian armies in my collection. Since their completion some time ago, they have not been deployed on the game table. Too busy building others I presume, but tonight that will change.

The Armenians must have been cursed in the Chinese manner. 'May you live in interesting times' It was certainly anything but dull back then for a couple of hundred years.

One caveat there, Robert – apparently the 3BW option didn't make it into the final army lists. At least my copy shows the bow as PS. Pity as I was looking forward to having that option.

They look good though.

P.S. Just finished an Armenian army myself, need to get some pics up.

goragrad,

You are correct. These were assembled during the time that the proposed lists circulated and I forged ahead and based them as such.

Not a problem really, as they can be employed elsewhere on the Eastern map and I have plenty of Ps archers to replace them.

They did get their first baptism last night, but the will be reported soon.

Cheers,
Robert

Fortunately I held off basing mine and now have a three psiloi start on the next lot of Armenians…
