1) Yes, there are boards for 15mm Fantasy and 18mm Fantasy! Equal rights for short figures!

2) No! I can't stand another Board!

3) Boards for all scales/sizes of Fantasy! What will the abandoned scales/sizes (20mm, 1/72nd, 10mm) feel when they are still left out? The Horror… Or the "new" sizes such as 3mm?

4) Wait, there are Boards for specific sizes of Fantasy figures?

5) If 15mm has a Board, shouldn't 18mm get it's own Board?

6) Is that the smell of Irony or Sarcasm?

wink

Don't see why not, assuming that there are ranges to discuss. After all SF has 6mm, though I would say you might want to have it labelled 6 & 10 mm, which is what I think the SF 6mm board should be called.

Not until there is a 10mm fantasy board clearly.

I second the 10mm Fantasy board.

Neither 6 or 10mm

We could compromise and have a micro-scale fantasy board for anything < 15mm.

As an aside, as much as I would love a dedicated 6mm fantasy board, it might be a bit silly. I think there are currently only 3 ranges in production, my own, Baccus, and Irregular. I don't think the others have had a release in many years.

Also, of the 6 souls who have posted on the thread, we have 2 emphatic no's, 2 10mm fans, a 2mm fan, and a single tepid yes based on the fact that 6mm scifi has one…the support doesn't seem to be there

1) I wasn't seriously requesting such a board, it would certainly be something I would post on and support but I never seriously thought it would get support to actually happen.

2) I DO believe if you make a board for any scale/size figures you should represent other scale/size figures in that Genre too. For me that would be small (2,3,6mm) medium (10/15/18/20mm) large (25/28/30mm) and Giant (anything bigger.) The exact "numbers" are open to debate but those are my standard operating terms. I know it is easier to classify "Fantasy" and "Science Fiction" generically than Historical but that is my viewpoint.

3) I also think people sometimes want to pretend that their elitist scale mind set determines what is and isn't "real" miniatures but I try and ignore willful ignorance where possible. That has not been explicitly stated in this thread but it is there in other threads.

Unfortunately this is very true unless a manufacturer has slipped past my purview, which is certainly possible.

In general, no more boards.

If it doesn't interest you, fine, just turn it off so it doesn't bother you. It just seems some people don't want other people to have more boards because they aren't interested so therefore no one else should be? Else, why a blanket ban on more boards? More Boards hurts no one.
