Hey, way back in the PDF for Song of Blades and Heroes I bought years ago, there was a promise of a generic sci-fi system called Song of Bots and Bolts. Well, it's been a good 4 years or so, and I haven't heard a peep of SoBB, whatever happened to that? I mean, I'm pretty happy with my homebrew hard reboot of 1st Edition Rogue Trader, but it'd be nice to know what happened. |

It's morphed a bit and is going to be D10 based and called Harder than Steel. We're told playtesting is progressing and it may be out this year or next. In the meantime there is Mutants and Deathray Guns for post apocalypse sic fi and someone has posted a Star Wars conversion on the yahoo group files page. Also the modern version of song of blades 'Flying Lead' can do near future and even has a not Stargate scenario in the book. Robert |
