Can we put the discussion of how the TMP Marketplace is being used to rest with discussion and a vote? 1. Limit the number of posts to one per day by everyone including businesses. 2. Limit the number of posts to two per day by everyone including businesses. 3. Limit the number of posts to one per day by individuals only, no businesses. 4. Limit the number of posts to two per day by individuals only, no businesses. 5. Unlimited number of postings by everyone including businesses. 6. I don't look at the TMP Marketplace. 7. I have no opinion.
Anyone sock puppeting to get multiple posts in the Marketplace would be booted.

Break it out into an "individuals" and a "business" forum. 1 post per day per entity. |

4. With the provision that if one wants to post something like books or miniatures for sale, it is all under one posting. |

3 Current state is awful. People are monopolizing it and line iteming their stuff even if it's say, a bunch of books on world war 2. There are also some folks who clearly have a business doing this who should be paying for advertising instead. A perfect example of give an inch people will take a mile. |

5. Why must everybody try to control everything so much? What harm is there from one person or business having multiple postings? I just don't get it. |

The problem is that multiple listings per day (and you know who you are…) drive onesies off the bottom of the front page. I do not go shopping in, say, "18th Century Matketplace". I glance at the front page. I have listed stuff and have seen the listing disappear in less than two days. So it burns me up when I have a listing with multiple items in it and see someone have 10 consecutive listings for individual rules sets. Maybe that has cost me money but that to me is bad manners. I don't know if I would limit a person to two per day but definitely three. This is not exactly an Ignore issue because it is difficult to force people to Ignore listings by SPAMing competitors. |

Can we put the discussion of how the TMP Marketplace is being used to rest with discussion and a vote? 9. Probably not Instead, could we work toward a community standard for writing the headers to make it easier to scan?

2. Isn't the whole reason a business advertises with TMP so they can get their ad on the banner and show us to their website? I've no problem with a business posting a list of wares on the marketplace, but having it filled up (and bumping others off) by a mass of posts, each detailing one item from a given seller seems excessive. |
