Well, it's been since July 7 2014 when I ordered two 4' x 6' mats from James Hubbs and Kevin Butterfield (the proprietors at Zuzzy Mats). Their website promised four to six weeks delivery. I sent numerous emails to them regarding the status of my order after that window had elapsed and finally heard from Mr. Butterfield on Nov. 9, indicated that they were behind and that if I were patient, I should receive my mats soon. He asked if I wanted a refund at that time, and stupidly, I replied that I wanted the mats. After several more months, I sent follow up emails, now requesting a refund of my $125.21 USD. No response. I sent another email Friday night, requesting that they refund my money. No response. I filed a dispute with PayPal today, but since it is out of the 45 day window, there is no dispute resolution possible beyond the complaint attached to their account now.

There is no surface mail address or phone number I can find for the company or either of the gentlemen. I post this here so that you can beware of ordering from them. It is a shame, as I own three of their mats that I purchased in the past and find them to be high quality. I am hoping they or someone who knows them personally sees this post and my money is returned. I no longer wish to have the merchandise.

I really want their cobblestone mats. Darn.

Ugh, no good. I was looking at their mats two weeks ago and was getting ready to place an order for a couple. I really hope this turns around.

The stuff on that linked DakkaDakka thread about the Zuzzy guy deleting their complaints off his Facebook page, while he continues to otherwise be active on that page, is very troubling.

Thanks, Joe, for the contact information.

I bought a mat 2 years ago, and it took 2 months to arrive. It really is a great product and I want to cautiously say "it was worth the wait", but they really do need to do something about their production/communication.

This sucks. I love my Zuzzy Mat. I was just thinking about ordering more. This is terrible. Its one thing when its a crappy product but this is a good product.

I grow more convinced that when using Paypal to trade with a new supplier, any order should be placed on condition that delivery is required within 6 weeks or I file a complaint.

Are they communicating with anyone who orders new mats, or is it selective who they ignore?

A friend wanted one of his mats; I searched and came up with the info listed above.

He called and placed the order. Had his mat in less than 2 weeks.

Please don't deal with any trader who does not give a full and comprehensive physical address. Such traders are villains with a good reason for not being found. It is against the distance seeing regulations as well in the UK. i don't know the situation in the US though. These traders drag down the whole hobby. There are still a fw UK traders who o not comply with this basic courstesy. Shame on them.
