Last week I read "1177BC" by E H Cline. Realy interesting book about the end of the great bronze age empires. I liked it so much I am considering to finaly start painting those Hitittes and Myceneans I bought ages ago! Currently reading Victus, the fall of Barcelona by A S Pinol. About the War of Spanish Succession in Spain and Catalonia. It is a historical fiction book, but there are lots of contemporary images and maps in the book. If you are looking for inspiration to play out a siege, this is it! |

Everybody knows about this one. I am late to the reading game, but the wait is worth it. Entertaining writing style. Hmm, only three books, I am getting jaded I suppose…. |
