Tried going to the site listed here on TMP, but no web-address or instructions on ordering… I'd love to purchase one of these… Any help or are these OOP and vanquished to the eons….. Madcam. |

Thanks Chaps (someone throw a banana to Foxweasel ;) )! Madcam, the website is here tigerterrain.com Stephan is a very nice guy to deal with, but he's only got a small, part-time operation going and has something of a waiting list for the models (I think he manages to cast something like one of each model per day), so be patient! They're well worth waiting for! That said, I only waited a couple of days, though he might have a rush on between now and June! :) |

By the way, he's just re-released La Belle Alliance and Papelotte is due in May (this from an e-mail to me yesterday). |

The Airfix one is 1/72 of course and needs much work to bring it up to this standard. Saying that, a trip to any model railway shop will supply plastic window frames, doors, stone for mullioned windows, drainpipes etc. The farmhouse ans stables are much better in this model, esp the latter as being so much taller. Obviously grossly contracted footprint, the real thing would be unmanageable. The great barn I am less keen on, not as "great" in proportion. As least the lads have not burnt the door yet. The two outer small doors in the stables I seriously doubt. History might have been very different. This looks right (actually it is beautifully finished! and it is whitewashed, which we all know was………… |

Yeah, it's not an exact scale model, but it does the job very nicely for my purposes. :) BTW, the barn doors at both ends are separate pieces. I glued them closed. Yeah, as you know, we had a great discussion about whitewashing or not, but in the end I decided to do it because it looks nice… :) I have no shame… :D |
