Been working on this a little while. The star fortress in resin is very heavy and that hits the shipping hard. So after some searching and some interesting master tile work we going Vacuform! Setting up pricing now but it should be a significant difference in cost. Here are the first two test shots

Looks great!

How will it stand up, durability-wise, during play, since obviously, the resin is probably tougher?

Any idea on pricing?

Will you still offer the resin plates, and ship via UPS Ground service, or other economy shipping?

Was the Death Star really destroyed, or was it just cheap Rebel propaganda, since everyone knows no farm-boy could accomplish such a feat, using "The Force", which is actually just a hokey, ancient religion?

The plastic is pretty durable. Looking at around $40 USD-45 a set. Resin will still be available but based on time available to cast.

If you drop resin it will probably break, if its vacformed styrene it will bounce, maybe dent a bit if you jump up and down on it. About the only thing you will probably want to do is fix it to a thin backing of MDF, hardboard or ply – double sided tape should do the job if you want it to be reversible for any reason.

the trench will need some sort of base. I have a plan on my website for it.
