Two more 1/200 scale models from Armaments in Miniature (AIM). These are very nice single-piece models. I especially like the detail of the B-17D which is a reproduction of Ron Crawford's HBM model. The national insignia for the p-38J are I-94 Enterprise decals. Those on the B-17D are from my leftovers box but I think they might be old True North decals. Lettering and numbers on both models are decals produced by Miscellaneous Miniatures, LLC. The B-17D is painted in Vallejo Model Colors paints while the P-38J is coated with Rustoleum's Aluminum (aerosol paint). Thanks for looking, Kevin miscmini.com AIM link B-17D

More beautiful planes. Thanks again for posting these. The B-17D (and earlier models) look so ungainly to me with the smaller tail. I much prefer the enlarged rear fuselage and tail and the reinforcing dorsal fin, introduced on the B-17E. |

Great job! You really did a great job of highlighting the detail in the models. |
