Are you kidding me? These are freaking awesome! Just shot to the top of my "next to buy" list. Well done!

PS – Love the algae stains on the divers. That's going to be stolen for my paint job.

No way! THIS is why I avoid looking at new releases!

And I'm still painting Deep Ones for a 1880 ish game!

Dang! Now I will need a undersea table when nemo arrives to help out beseiged Vero Beach!

So, start building your waterline AND submerged, full sized Nautalis hulls! Dang it mane! Building a "Real" Disney version scale Nautulis has always been a plan, but now it is a must!

Well, at least I have a good start on the underwater zoologicals. But how to do kelp in 15 mm? Otherwise, pretty easy to do in general.

So glad to see those hard hat divers. Been waiting a long time for those.

Kelp in 15mm is easy to make! Paint a dark green onto a black or dark gray plastic bag. Cut strips, coat in shellac, hang upside down, bending and twisting them until they harden.

Boom. Kelp! :)

Better yet, buy aquarium seaweed. Its out of scale, so randomly cut the stuff with scissors into smaller pieces, yet still intact. Made a bunch of good looking palmettos for Seminole Wars that way.

Pull dark green and brown felt, until it's a mess of fibers and threads, then just drop piles of it randomly. Rubber horsehair would work too.

I'm doing this! Gonna add underwater battles to my deep ones TSATF in the 1880's game!

OK, who wants to commission me to build a "real" Disney Nautilus in 15mm with interior?

Smokey Roan23 Apr 2015 12:27 p.m. PST

BTW Rebel, how about some 15mm merchant sailors? For 19th and 20th century, just kinda generic movie style, crusty sailors, the mandetory big black West Indies dude, the Chinaman, the suave Germn captain, the tough looking Arab, and a good looking harpooner/hero, etc?

How else are we supposed to get your pulp and horror figures to Africa if not by tramp steamer or Nile paddleboat?
