Here is another set of greens that will be released very soon--Viking Shield Maidens! Sculpted by Rodrick Campbell, these will be great additions to Viking armies, skirmish squads and even fantasy battles and RPGs.

You can see them here link

Read 'sensible barbarians' for fantasy. Really nice David. Next order is building up a head of steam…

Yes. Fully dressed and not anorexic.

Wow! I might have to find an army to fit these in or consider a Free Spears Company (mercenary) army.

Edit: +1 on the sensible design comments above.

Looks very 'Brienne of Tarth' at first glance

Fantastic David, been wanting something like these since I started watching Vikings (Tv Series), so glad somebody has their finger on the pulse, will order as soon as you have stock.

Very nice and great that the maidens are dressed in plausible clothing and equipment. No winged helms, mail bikinis, giant scimitars, etc.

tigrifsgt11 Apr 2015 10:14 a.m. PST

We need something like these in 28.

ChrisBrantley11 Apr 2015 10:16 a.m. PST

Good for dungeon crawling character groups as well.

Vosper11 Apr 2015 12:20 p.m. PST

Very good figs, and as mentioned above, reasonably attired for living in a world of sharp pointy/cutting things.

Sobieski11 Apr 2015 6:05 p.m. PST

Second the above opinions, and mail bikinis should be taken off and melted down, but if men can go berserk, why not women? Come on, allow us just one?

Excellent.

Looks very 'Brienne of Tarth' at first glance

Which is entirely appropriate, if you think about it.

David, What else do you have planned for the dark ages range(that your allowed to tell us about) ? anything to wet our appetites with?

Thanks, all. The next army Rod and I are planning on is some Carolingians and likely some Lombards. Not sure of timing on those though.

I second the motion to get something like this in 25/28mm.

Maybe you "large figures" guys need to ping your favorite sculptors and companies.
