I'm painting some PZIV Ds and I cant identify the following:

Mounted on the muffler there is what looks like a rack of 5 tubes, each about 3 inches in diameter and a foot or so long. I thought they might be grenade dischargers, but there is a short chain hanging down in front of each tube. I'm stumped. Can any of the learned gentlemen here explain these? Thanx.

Completely uneducated guess here…
Mounts for something (like poles for camo netting), the chain is there to tie down whatever it is?

Got a picture? Are the tubes vertical or horizontal?

The chains are there to keep the tube-caps with the tank after firing, much as you might tie a lens-cap to a camera.
