Ok. I admit defeat. I am wanting an Inquisitor scale Space Marine to help complete my collection. I know the originals show up on Ebay, but I was wondering if there were any "fan made" parts or alternatives out there.

I know this is a sticky subject- i was just wondering what the Inquisitor community had done.

Thanks-

Andrea miniatures Dark Nova line link
has a few options. they are listed as 70-80mm, but I'm guessing that is to the top of the head including scenic base because they are also called 1/32. Not cheap but really well done.

There might also be some possibilities in the 54mm Mutant Chronicles prepainted line that Fantasy Flight made for a brief time around 2008. I don't know the entirety of the line, but I think the Venusian Rangers might be a good starting point for making some marines.

Best of luck!

How do the Forgeworld Primarchs stack up?

Gosh, that Andrea Miniatures Dark Nova range is good (and I'm not even very fond of the aesthetic)

They seem the right scale, bearing in mind the amount of armour they are wearing.

I want to do the same, for some 54mm SF games along Space Hulk/Space Crusade lines. Scratch building from Terminators like the Blog looks like the way to go, quite a lot of work but spectacular results!

I'm not sure whether buying a box of 5 or getting the bits separately would be the best approach. It depends on whether all the basic bits are used I guess and I can't quite see whether that is so from the blog. Bits can be got at link

An alternative I am looking at are Starcraft Marines as a basis to work from, as they are very cheap at $10 USD for a bag of 9. There is also a Bag o'Zerglings, which are more or less Genestealers, same deal, 3 poses, 9 figures in a bag, on 'sale prices' at the moment.
