Still need to base, add a little more detail and come up with some mahouts in a semi formal type uniform. Foundry elephants and limber riders (Boer War artillery limber riders) with a scrapped together limber (Napoleonic and Indian mutiny)and 40 pounder gun made of lots of bits and pieces of various things.Cell phone photo.

They look great. Fantastic terrain. |

Thanks. Most of the terrain other then the tan colored hills are made with the woodchip/bark method that I started using after seeing MadGuru's blog and his development of his Charasiab terrain.I am just a copycat I guess. |

Looks fantastic, Rhingyll, well done!!! Your rocky hills -- and trees -- also look amazing! Please feel free to "copycat" me any time! Plus, I have never scratchbuilt a 40lb. elephant battery, so I guess I better get busy copycatting you… |

Thanks. Most of the tress are from Keith Warren's Realistic Modelling Services. He makes a savannah type tree, which although not Afghanistan, looks good I think for the setting, because it is somewhat sparse on the lower portion but top heavy with foliage. |

Very nice! I'm going to have to put together a couple 40pdrs, though I do have some of the Irregular RUG 5" howitzers and 15pdrs. |

Most excellent Rhingyll! You've inspired us with these stories on your 40pdr battery, so much so that I thought I MUST get some guns like that. I hope to have more news soon on what I did about that… EC |
