It's still a WIP, but I'm excited to finally have a train to use in our Pulp Alley games --- Pardon me boys, is that the Pulp Alley Choo Choo?

Please what scale is good for 28mm |

I'm guessing it's either S or O gauge. S is a bit closer to 28mm in scale terms, but O is much more common and available since American Flyer was taken over by Lionel. Either would be a good choice for 28mm gaming. On3 is a narrow gauge configuration that uses HO track for O gauge locomotives and rolling stock, typically mining or logging lines. It would also be good for 28mm. It's hard to tell from the angle, but that could be HO track supporting an On3 train. |

Dad found some cheap Hawthorne Village cars on ebay and just repainted them all. I think it's On30 scale. -Mila Pulp Alley

"I think it's On30 scale." On30 scales out to 30 inches between rail center lines. On3 is 3 feet, or 36 inches. Both use HO track to model narrow gauge railroads in O scale. |

Ayup, I decided to go with On30 scale for our train. Mainly because of the way it looks on the table and next to our figures, but also because there was a good selection available and I found some cars that were relatively inexpensive. HAVE FUN

It's On30. NICE! (thats O scale cars on HO track) Uh had I bothered to read replys, I would have known that. I knew it from the cars! And the track bed (not Lionel EZ track) |

Thanks! I've been wanting a train forever. I'm so glad we finally got one. Here are a couple more photos of it ready for a scenario. There's more work I could do to it and add more detail, but it's just for gaming so I'm calling it done. ---
