Hi all, New to TMP, pretty new to wargaming! I took up painting miniatures last year after me and a few friends had some fun with Wings of Glory, and now I'm looking to play some regular historical wargaming with a club. I have a small Napoleonic Austrian army and Brit WW2, both in 15mm, and I'd like to start on a 6mm army (period undecided) when I've finished the Austrian brigade I'm currently working on. Does anyone know of any groups in the Warrington or Halton area that do historical gaming? I've tried searching around online but had no luck. Any info would be really helpful. Thanks! |

Hi I know there's club in Warrington that does 40K (bit.ly/1EbZcgK) and also a mainly role playing club (bit.ly/1EbZm80). Personally, I travel to MAWS at Walkden (maws.org.uk) once or twice a month on Sundays. MAWS has a strong historical section as well as 40K etc. They use their Yahoo group to arrange matches. -- Martin Stephenson The Waving Flag | Twitter | eBay |

There is a Runcorn club and some of the members come across to Deeside Defenders at Booughton (Chester), but I don't have any contact details |
