I can't help it. Every time I see the title I think of something else. No disrespect or criticism of the guys who are making 18th century vehicles, I'm making several of them myself with full interiors, working drawers in the sides etc. But I always imagine a "coach" as in a sports coach or a personal trainer teaching modern people how to be in the 18th century. It's rather a whimsical thought. "No No, Miss Snodgrass, one turns to the LEFT in a Contratanz, and with the beat please!" |

Innuendo is what I think you could call it. I giggled a little at your post Otto. My favourite is 'Is there anything worn under a kilt?' The answer is usually 'No, it's all in perfect working order'. Another similarity is a football coach and a football manager. What is the difference?
My work experience of a coach was someone who showed me how to do something whereas a manager told me to do something without telling me how to do it. |

Thanks for explaining the confusion I never experienced. Now I'm confused about Coach Handbags. Are they for carrying the coach or simply the appropriate accessory for riding in a coach? Or do they coach old bags? |

Innuendo is what I think you could call it. Not exactly, more of a double entendre or pun. Although your "under the kilt" example is indeed an innuendo. |

I go innuendo and go out you door. |

So Otto. How would Bill Belichick look in a powdered wig and a hoodie? |

Dear John Probably could pull it off. On the other hand I doubt the Cardassians could be prevented from pulling it all off. Hmmmm… I wonder… I wonder which modern actress' would look the best in the full 18th century get up. Valerie Bertinelli, Emily Deschenelle, I'll have to noodle around with my photoshop over the weekend. |

So, is a coaching inn the place to go to learn how to drink? |

I don't care what she wears, as long as she pulls it off. |
