Over the long weekend break I managed to paint another 18 Great War Miniatures Germans.
I took the plunge on Friday and bought myself a craft magnifier, despite about a 25% increase in time to apply the highlights I am really happy with the result.

Those do look good. I find reading glasses work for me better than the item you use. It always looked like my brush was too large. |

@45thdiv-I gave up with my Optivisor ( which is probably what Scrivs is talking about)because I found the depth of field to be too shallow. I now wear varifocals and my optician always takes account of the fact that I paint and also use computers for work. Very nice brushwork on those Germans though, so the device obviously works for him. |

Thanks chaps My reading prescription is already quite strong (+4.0) but was not enough, hence the craft magnifier. |
