Just as the title says.

Thx

This is not a direct answer as I do not deal with ancients; however my ECW army is mostly Redoubt and I have used somebody's plastic ECW. The Redoubt are big, robust figures and do not match up well with the plastic; but grouped in their own units and with a little extra depth to the stands of plastic troops they are acceptable – at least in my own mind. Hope that helps! Hank

In this case you might be lucky.
The Redoubt Trojans are smaller than most others, for example the ECW range. Probably done to match the Foundry Trojans and Myceneans.

I don't know of any plastic Trojans- yet- but for example the plastic Numidians would go well with them.

The Redoubt Trojan war stuff actually pre-dates Foundry's, but as Willie says, it's a pretty "standard" 28mm, unlike many of Redoubt's ranges. Size-wise it should mix fine with most 28mm plastics – the absence of any 28mm plastic "biblical" ranges limits that as a plus though – so far plastic ancients are all later eras.

The earliest ranges tend to be classical Greek hoplites, nominally from circa 500 BC.

Units without helmets and armour could probably be pushed into earlier times, though.

Warlord has a bunch of Middle East Bronze Age stuff. Nothing labeled as Trojan and no Mycenians.

Conversions are probably best answer. As mentioned, Wargame Factory's Numidians are generic enough as a start point for a lot of the lesser equipped units. They mix well with Foundry. No idea on how they work with Redoubt. Aren't Redoubt out of the 28mm area? Aside from the mentioned smaller line, I have always wondered how people used these with other lines in other eras. As the Redoubt Trojans are smaller, this might mean an opening for me to jump into the era as I have a lot of Foundry Trojans and WF Numidians doing nothing.

The Warlord/Cutting Edge minis will not match with Redoubt. They are very realistically proportioned.
