The pre-built Pegasus/Trumpeter T-72s come in a nice camo. green, but someone designed them in parade colors, with white wheel, and hull trim.

It looks okay, but I'd prefer them to be in a more traditional overall green, without the white trim accenting, so, has anyone else over-painted the trim on their vehicles, and found a good paint match?

Acrylics are preferred, but I'll consider a nice, flat, enamel, or craft paint color, if it's a better match.

Another option would be to use a nice dusty color on the wheels, which would work okay there, but is probably a bit much to cover up all that white on the hull sides, and the little bit on the glacis plate.

Thoughts?

I've repainted diecasts/plastics. If possible see if you can take the turret off, apparently you can on some without breaking it. Primed with Citadel black and away you go.

I'm currently using A.MIG-056 Green Khaki highlighted with A.MIG-058 Light Green Khaki from the Ammo from Mig range, for all my cold war onwards gear.
