I have posted new pictures of the 6th (Inniskilling) Regiment of Dragoons on my Blog. These Perry 28m figures were painted for me by Carl Robson.

Lovely, but straighten those swords!

(I'm OCD when it comes to bent swords/spears – doubly so when they've been deliberately curved/straightened when they should be straight/curved).

;)

I think the Perrys would be pleased to see their products handled so well.

Just out of interest – why 23?

I agree these are absolutely stunning. I really liked your blog too.

Where did you purchase your "SANOTO 16"x16" Portable Mini Kit Photo Photography Studio Light Box Softbox MK45"?

Also, how did come by the graduated white to sky blue background?

Superb photos!

Thanks

OK, Let's put this back to the top, because, of all the figures you have shown, these impressed me the most.

Why?

Because. let's be honest, the 6th are that bit more dull. No eagle to capture (unless fantasy) and yellow is hard to paint. White is even worse (But I learnt so much from Archiduque's book, thanks!)……red is murder…that is it!

the VI D on the portmanteau……I wish…….again the helmet work as on the Royals and the Oxford Blues you later showed……..brown harness on black horses…..exactly right.

The lace work. The vertical stuff on the troopers' chests ……… blue inset stripe? I gave up on mine as I do not have that skill, but I imagined nothing at all or even a thin black stripe either side.

In the infinity of the cosmos, I appreciate, ………..who cares?

Just curious. Fantastic series you are showing here. I want, one day, to see them all, en masse, going over the ridge and into poor d'Erlon's lads and the cuirassiers to the west……..
