Just a quick update: here is my latest foray into the world of Aeronef. This time we have my take on the Spanish Navy. I tried hard to add more detail than my previous attempts while still keeping said detail within the realm of printability.

A few examples:

Heavy Cruiser:

Nice work! Like this fleet a lot!

Real nice but I would have thought that the Battlecruiser would be longer than the Battleship and have more funnels.

For what scale?

Katzbalger06 Apr 2015 3:59 p.m. PST

Why do the ships have funnels but the propeller pods have exhausts (like piston engine pods)?

Just wondering.

Other than that, they look great!

Maybe the steam engines power the Cavorite Lift Device and the propellers provide the forward thrust? :)

Noice.

I HATE how hard you make it for me to keep my promise of 'Shapeways, never again!'

Sweet, Jav.

@Katzbalger: Um… what Will said!

@Bill: Roughly 2mm scale. I made them to fit in with Brigade's line of ships.

Spain?

You Evil…

Must resist.

For a while…

Nice pictures.

*knock knock*

Glenn? Is that you Glenn?

Speak, boy?

Now, don't be calling him evil…

…until he works out some 15mm versions. ;->=

15mm would be… Double Evil… at least.

If you can make them for the Aeronef range then I'll buy them.

I'd drop the Dreadnaught and maybe the Carrier. This is Spain after all, a 2nd rate power with limited nef building capabilities and regular financial problems. Unless you let them keep most of their New World colonies ;)

Captain Gideon28 Apr 2015 11:20 a.m. PST

kahuna you might be right about the Dreadnought because the term shouldn't be in Aeronef simply because it's too early for that term also eventhough in Aeronef the Germans have a Dreadnought they might change that term but it hasn't happened yet.

As for the Carrier I think that most Nations should've Carriers.

Right now there's only 4 Nations that have Carriers which are:

Japan
Great Britain
France
Turkey

And some other Nations which don't have Carriers should among them are:

Germany
Italy
Austria

For myself I like Aeronef and enjoy the ships and rules and I hope that Brigade makes a Spanish Aeronef Fleet one day.

Michael
