"The Afghan Taliban have published a surprise biography of the reclusive Mullah Mohammed Omar, to mark his 19th year as their supreme leader.

The 5,000-word biography on their main website clarifies disputed facts about his birth and upbringing.

It lists his favourite weapon – the RPG 7 – and says he leads a simple life and has a "special" sense of humour.

It says Mullah Omar, whose whereabouts are unknown, "remains in touch" with day-to-day Afghan and world events.

The US state department has a $10 USDm bounty on Mullah Omar, who has not been seen since the US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001…"

Does it include a mailing address ? IMO, he still needs join UBL. Just because … His death[martyrdom] won't really change any dynamics of what is going on currently. But I think the civilized 21st Century world needs to send the message, and if need be keep sending it. That this type of backward behavior, etc., is not acceptable or will be tolerated. By the majority of the planet that lives in the present … not the past. And just because you live in the present, should not be a death sentence by the Mullah Omars, etc., etc. that still are very much out of touch with the current century.

I hope they're hunting for him in Iran, as well as other locations.

Given his pal was found in Pakistan, I suspect he may have moved from there by now, if he was ever there in the first place, and Iran seems like a safe haven, given its closed society.
