So, I was watching the Joseph Papp Kevin Klein Linda Ronstadt (!) movie on demand, and humming along while painting, I noticed that the short black curly bearded pirate looks like a dead ringer for Salladhor Saan, the …. large black curly bearded pirate in Game of Thrones!
You think I'm insulted? I am a pirate. I'm an excellent pirate."
Alas, he is not the same person. That would have been neat, hainna?

Well, considering that Pirates came out in 1983 and the actor playing Salladhor Saan was born in 1976…
