I like them! Question… the light blue, is not very light?

Yes, maybe! :-) I addressed this in the text, and also the references in the comments section as well. Here's the other regt (DR #4)
My two earlier Prussian Dragoons are in a darker blue, more akin to Royal blue. Knoetel describes the color of their tunics as "hellblau", i.e., "Light Blue", which can cover a lot of territory, and illustrations (aghain see the references in the comments to the post) show a broad range of colors. The more turquoise shade is inspired by the old Funken plates! Peter |

I have some light blue dragoons that I plan to dip, so deliberately went a bit brighter. These look a tad bright to me, but if you are happy then go for it – we should all enjoy our hobby and painting without fear of the button counters |

They look excelent. Down with button counters as far as I'm concerned as well :^) Cheers Carlo |

far too light in my view, but as a comitted button counter – I was supposed to come to that conclusion. Try out a darker light blue – it will contrast much better – in my view with the yellow. In case you are interested in colour theory – visit you tube and see the series of 6 parts by Romain on it. |
