Okay, so things sometimes take me a while to finish, but here is a post on my latest HotT project using figures from 15mm.co.uk's festive range. link I love the snowmen and Xmas trees and look forward to finding out what will be added to the range later this year. And hopefully it will take me less than 4 months to paint up… |

Great stuff. Don't you just love how you can make so many different armies for HOTT. Best war-game rules ever. |

+1 for HoTT being a great game vehicle. Excellent army. My only thing is the bases being grass, not snow. Would you have Reindeer as Riders? Maybe with Small Elf riders? |

Thanks guys! And yes, I pondered long and hard about how to base them. My main problem was that, even if I did a snow effect, it would clash with all my terrain, so I just went with grass instead. |

You need some temporary snow bases. Get some fine lacey cloth, cut to size of elements, with holes where the figures are. When you are the defender, put the covers on and use a snow cloth for table top. The attacker can be the odd one with grass. Maybe spray the cloth with "snow". Maybe just put a dab of white on the bases to indicate melting snow. I have gots to get me one of those "christmas" armies. I have all the pieces in 75mm. |

That's a very good idea! I'll have to do that for this Christmas! |

I have a snow table and I would love to get some snow themed armies on it. I'd probably have to go with green bases with some snow flock on them though to ensure maximum cross-table compatibility. |
